I swapped them out last year. The origonal 40's are the loudest 2 chamber muffler Flowmaster had up until the release of the super 44's. My friend also has 2 1/2" Super 40s on his 3/4 ton and I dont like the way they sound. They sound very tinny. He has the same size engine and an exhaust identical to mine but he's got about half the power. C.
