May have air in the fuel system. On the secondary fuel filter housing, there is a primer pump. Turn it counter clockwise and give it a few good strokes. I'd wait a minute or two and try it again and it might work, and it might not. I just learned to live with it. After replacing the starter, the problem did become much less frequent and severe.

They said you have to either wait for lights on the dash to go out after turning the key on or hold the starter button in and wait for it to start. He said that the Cascadias are the same way. We had two of seven Cascadia's with starter problems.
