Don't let it fool you though, it has the same kickass thermal core and image quality of the MH25. Having compared it to a FLIR Breach, it's leagues above in thermal image quality.

That said, there isn’t going to be any resolution or detection difference between the two 640px cores, just as the BAE 12-micron core isn’t the least bit better in that department than their previous generation 17-micron core (in fact, some insist the 17um core is still better). The image of the IRay rivals that of the skeet and does it for roughly $4500 vs the tag on the skeet of about $15k. As far as running night vision on one side and thermal on the other, it works better than one would imagine. Your brain puts the image together pretty darn good! Jay
