Triangulation can be used to deepen the researchers understanding of the issues and maximize their confidence in the findings of qualitative studies. WebbIn this example, with a positivistic idea of triangulation, the analytical process might have stopped at the descriptive level with the conclusion that there was convergence between accounts.
